The ramen shop I wanted to eat at was closed the other night, so I went across the street to a tiny little mom and pop soba/udon shop.  It's really cheap, I'll give it that!

I picked a 450 yen item from the vending machine and hoped it would be ok.  I just had to specify soba as opposed to udon, and it was in front of me in less than a minute.  Meanwhile the lady got back to cleaning the floor...

It wasn't very good unfortunately...
